Preface
An identity document is any document which may be used to corroborate aspects of a person’spersonality.However, substantially standard- sized card, it’s generally called an identity card( IC), If issued in the form of a small. Countries which don’t have formal identity documents may bear informal documents. In the absence of formal identity document, driving licenses can be used in numerous countries as a system of evidence of identity, although some countries don’t accept driving licenses for identification, frequently because in those countries they don’t expire as documents and can be old fluently forged. utmost countries accepts passports as a form of identification. utmost countries have the rule that foreign citizens need to have their passport or sometimes a public identity card from their country, available at anytime if they don’t have hearthstone permit in the country. A pupil identification card can only be issued to genuine bonafide scholars. Card holders can use the card to identify themselves as a pupil around the lot or outside the lot. The identity card is managed and administered by the( Student Identity Card Association( SICA) of the academy.
Theoretical Background
moment, it’s believed that the operation of computer technology in any exertion would go a long way in making that exertion much easier. To the exploration, this statement remains a proposition until proven else by the perpetration of a motorized pupil ID- card processing system. It’s also believed that benefits and advantage of using computers outweighs that of homemade styles. This also wants to be proven beyond dubieties by the experimenter through the perpetration of the new system.
Statement of the Problem
The major problems that gave rise to this exploration design is faced by Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic and they include late enrollment of pupil’s, loose scholars that know different ways of producing fake identity cards, loose and politic pupil’s who have a way of sneaking into the examination hall with fake identity cards.
Aim and objects of the Study
The end of the study is to design and apply workable motorized system for pupil’s identity cards. The objects of the study are as follows
1. To establish effective means of tracking scholars with fake ID- Card.
2. To reduce examination malpractice in Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, at least in the area of impersonation
. To produce a dependable database of scholars in Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, with unique features like passport photos and enrollment figures.
4. For exploration purpose( design jotting defense).
Significance of the Study
This exploration work would be gratuitous if it has no significance to humanity.
originally, the recently designed system would make other-advanced institutions to see the need for creating a motorized pupil ID- card processing system to use in product of pupil ID- card.
Secondly, the knowledge that the new system has designed would make scholars and invigilators meaning on impersonation and have a change of mind for fear of being caught.
Thirdly, the designed of the system would give jobs for system judges and programmers communicated to make the system for other institutions.
Fourthly, pupil identity card is used to check out books from the library, register to bounce on pupil union matters, and get pupil reduction.
Eventually, the exploration systems would serve as reference material to other scholars interested to farther exploration on the content.

This exploration work confined to perpetration of motorized pupil ID- card processing system; using Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic as a case study. Data used for the study were gathered from this source.
Organization of the Research This exploration work has been arrange in the following order
Chapter one contains preface, theoretical background, statement of the problem, end and objects of the study, significance of the study, compass of the study, association of the exploration and description of terms( where necessary).
Chapter two concentrated on the applicable literature review, pressing introductory conception.
Chapter three is concerned with the system design which emphasis on system design and flowcharting. It also expands the development of the new information system that would grease shadowing of fake ID- cards.
Chapter four is the system perpetration which gives the direction of system and analysis of modules.
Chapter five summarizes and concludes the exploration work offering some useful recommendations.
Description Of Terms
In order to do down with nebulosity, some terms and keywords in the environment of this exploration are hereby defined.
Identity Card: It’s a evidence of the holder’s identity that includes a snap.
Impersonation: The act of pretending to be avoid seeker in order to write examination for someone differently using that person identity card.
Verification: Is the substantiation that proves that commodity is true or current.
Snap: It’s an image appeared on the identity card proprietor.
Malpractice: Is a careless, wrong, or illegal practices that isn’t ethical in a particular field like academics.
