Extraction And Characterization Of Oil From Cashew Nut
Abstract
This study was carried out to prize canvases from cashew nut and to characterized canvases with the view to ascertain their felicity for consumption and other uses. Soxhlet outfit was used for its birth using ethanol as detergent. The physical and chemical parcels of the uprooted oil painting were anatomized. The chance oil painting uprooted from the shell of the cashew was set up to be64.25. The results of the physical analysis showed that the cashew nut shell liquid CNSL is golden colour. The boiling points for shell is 1500C independently. And the parcels of CNSL conformed to a lesser extent to that displayed by linseed oil painting. The cashew tree( Anarcardium Occidentale) is a native of Brazil and the lower Amazons.
