Account has long been an organizational function especially with the arrival of non proprietor directors who need to modernize what’s passing in the association. Maintaining, medication and donation of accounts is pivotal for business success as well as association for effective decision making whether it’s a nonprofit timber association or profit timber because they’ve to report to the stakeholders of the association through good organizational operation. still there was hamstrung as an aid for effective operation of an association due to loss of records, detention in medication of records and its associated problems. This study concentrated on establishing the influence of motorized account systems as an aid for effective operation of an association.

Background

In Uganda, before the preface of motorized system of account, the homemade systems were inaccurate and inconsistent for numerous association needs especially reporting of fiscal information. This is because the system was associated with crimes since data was collected, analysed, journalized and a trial balance and balance distance prepared( Meigs, 1986).

Though utmost association haven’t being doing well in as an aid for effective operation of an association and account records, reports from a relative check conducted by Indira( 2008) Uganda inclusive indicate that enterprises have greatly bettered on the ways of reporting their fiscal statements. Motorized account system is defined as the operation of the computer grounded software used to input, process, store, and affair counting information. This operation is in support of the ever advancing technology that enables enterprises to use computer programs to perform tasks that were preliminarily done manually.

A motorized account system thus involves the robotization of counting information systems which is established inorder to grease decision timber. These are associated with a figures of benefits like speed of carrying out routine deals, punctuality, quick analysis, delicacy and reporting.

still numerous associations aren’t enjoying the benefit of robotization of account system as they’ve continued to be inaccurate due to increased number of interruptions due to system failure or breakdown and untimeliness with its trustability left in question( as per European Union Audit Report by National Audit Organization 6 may 2003)

According to Pandey( 1998), Financial reporting to the company’s stakeholders for case the government, public, benefactors is a statutory obligation for every association.

Saleemi( 1981) defined as an aid for effective operation of an association as the process of supplying fiscal information which is dependable, accurate and complete to the colorful stakeholders for making profitable opinions. This is always inform of fiscal statements similar as statement of comprehensive income, statement of fiscal position and cash inflow statement and other fiscal annually reports which give an overview of the company’s current fiscal strength.

Statement of the Problem

According to the Accountant of a, b, c Transports, despite the actuality of a well established motorized account system cases of detention, inaccurate reporting, misposting and wrong balances have continued to do. Given that motorized account systems are put in place, similar cases aren’t anticipated to do and hence the experimenter is thus urged to carry out an disquisition on the effectiveness of the system used by National Water.

The exploration was carried out in a, b, c Transports. This was due to vacuity and convinces of carrying data about the content of the study.

Content/ Variable compass

The exploration was grounded on two variables these are motorized account systems which comprise of delineations, factors of motorized account software and benefits and limitation of motorized system as an aid for effective operation of an association which also comprises of delineations of good organizational operation, benefits and effectiveness of account system used at a, b, c Transports.

Time compass

The study was grounded on good organizational operation and account system for the period covering 2009- 2010 due to the limited time needed to complete the exploration.

Significance of the Study

i. The study will enable operation to understand the significance of preparing quality and dependable good organizational operation.

ii. The study will point out weakness in the account system which operation needs to address.

iii. Other experimenters will use the report as literature review in order to ameliorate on their exploration content in another period.
