Over the times there have been numerous delineations of entrepreneurship and they’ve each been respectable delineations but i define it as the capacity and amenability to develop, organize and manage a business adventure along with any of its pitfalls in order to make a profit. The most egregious illustration of entrepreneurship is the starting of new businesses.
In economics, entrepreneurship combined with land, labor, natural coffers and capital can produce profit. Entrepreneurial spirit is characterized by invention and threat- taking, and is an essential part of a nation’s capability to succeed in an ever changing and decreasingly competitive global business.
One can simply say that entrepreneurship as the pursuit of a tone- possessed business or company. Entrepreneurs are people who are willing to take pitfalls to make a profit, whether by contriving a new product or opening their own company, it’s also the geste of starting business or taking on fiscal threat with the stopgap of making a profit. Entrepreneurship is nearly a way oflife.However, also it permeates everything that you do, If you have it in you.
Entrepreneurship is the act of starting a company, arranging business deals and taking pitfalls in order to make a profit through the chops acquired( Omolayo 2006). Entrepreneurship education can also be described as the term given to who has innovative ideas and also posses the capability to transforms it to profitable conditioning. Entrepreneurship in other words is the process of bringing together creative, innovative ideas and coupling these with operation and organizational chops in order to combine people, plutocrat and coffers to meet an linked need and produce wealth. In the same tone, Nwangwu( 2007) editorialized that entrepreneurship is a process of bringing together the factors of product, which include land, labour and capital so as to give a product or service for public consumption. still, the functional description of entrepreneurship is the amenability and capability of a person or persons to acquire educational chops to explore and exploit investment openings, establish and manage a successful business enterprise.
Entrepreneur can be defined as an instituting existent who has developed an ongoing business exertion where none was ahead. Meredith( 1983) defined an entrepreneur as a person or persons who possesses the capability to fete and estimate business openings, assemble the necessary coffers to take advantage of them and take applicable action to insure success. Entrepreneurs are people who constantly discover new requests and try to figure out how to supply those requests efficiently and make a profit.
An Entrepreneur is a person that searches for change, responds to change, and exploits change by converting change into business occasion.
Political insecurity and inconsistencies in the social- profitable programs of consecutive government led to the emergence of high position severance in Nigeria. According to Nwangwu( 2007), the failure of tertiary education to inculcate the below gospel in scholars has led to extinctions in terms of both mortal and natural coffers. This is because the youth and graduate from tertiary institutions aren’t equipped with the chops with which to exploit the natural coffers that pullulate in Nigeria. All these factors have rendered the pursuit of tone- reliance among our graduates delicate to retain. Whether technology alone will be sufficient to achieve an entrepreneurship sustainable future is unclear. This will depend on public and private support for entrepreneurship salutary technologies and the extent to which farther growth in world population and profitable affair will compromise per capita emigrations reductions and a more effective use of natural coffers.
Sustainable development is a pattern of profitable growth in which resource use aims to meet mortal requirements while conserving the terrain so that these requirements can be met not only in the present, but also for generations to come( Paul, 2005). Sustainable development ties together concern for the carrying capacity of natural systems with the social challenges faced by humanity. Sustainable development requires balancing environmental, societal and profitable considerations in the pursuit of development and an advanced quality of life. Sustainability includes intergenerational equity, gender equity, just and peaceful societies, social forbearance, environmental preservation and restoration, poverty relief and natural resource conservation( Paul, 2005). The major essential tool for achieving sustainable development includes the following
Ameliorate the quality of introductory education;
Reorient being education programmed to address sustainable development;
Develop public mindfulness and understanding; and
give training for all sectors of private and civil society.
Education for Sustainable Development is the focus or protuberance of education that seeks to equip people towards creating a sustainable future. Stakeholders similar as government, businesses, educational institutions, media, and associations play important places in achieving sustainable development. Each of these sectors has a different vision of sustainable development. Some are interested in environmental preservation and protection; some have profitable development interests while other may be more interested in social development. According to UNESCO( 2003) the way each nation, artistic group and individual views sustainable development will depend on its own values.
In numerous European nations, Universities and specialized sodalities trained scholars of wisdom, economics and business operation in chops that helps to make further sustainable societies. Programs similar as Peace Education, Human Right Education, Environmental Education and Youth Entrepreneur schemes are carried out in numerous seminaries( UNESCO,( 2003). Hence, similar enterprise help scholars and preceptors to gain an understanding of theinter-linkages demanded for sustainable development( Paul, 2005). The emphasis has been on education that will give life and occupational chops that will enhance the capabilities of individual, buttressing tone- adequacy and perfecting quality of life.

Some entrepreneurial capabilities can be learned through formal education, other capabilities are wordless and depend on existent’s characteristics and are erected during the person’s life, experience, and career( Brownell,( 2006).

Acquiring entrepreneurial capabilities is of crucial significance for entrepreneurs willing to achievement acquainted entrepreneurs. This study examines the effect of machine technology scholars ’ faculty on entrepreneurship for sustainable development in Lagos State. There are principally two ways a graduate can end up, either into the soft skill position which is gaining employment in a commercial world( white- collar job) or entrepreneurial chops( business proprietor) to start one’s own business. In Nigeria’s profitable terrain which has severance as one of its major problems, it’s of benefit that when a pupil acquires proper knowledge in entrepreneurship chops similar pupil would be suitable to discover what they can lay their hands on if commercial employment doesn’t come. The significance of entrepreneurship to any frugality is like that of entrepreneurship in any community. Entrepreneurial exertion and the attendant fiscal gain are always of benefit to a country. The present education system encourages cramming and memory and not on creativity and practical operation of knowledge and this is unhealthy and unstable for a mannish technological advancement and entrepreneurship development. Also fear of failure by the people to take threat on entrepreneurial conditioning, while an unstable and conducive political terrain drives down people that are planning to embark on entrepreneurial conditioning hence it doesn’t make knowledge delivery on entrepreneurial chops available to scholars.
In addition, government programs aren’t designed to promote technological and entrepreneurship sustainability in Nigeria, the position of infrastructural development handed by the government is still veritably low and this has been affecting to a veritably high extent the position of productivity and entrepreneurial conditioning in thecountry.Judging by the numbers that are coming out of the Education Ministry in Nigeria, In the last many times, at least 60 of graduates aren’t suitable to get employment incontinently. Because of that, they go into one entrepreneurial adventure or another, but unfortunately they’ve not been adequately prepared to face the challenges of venturing.

Significance of the Study
The result of this studies will be useful to the youth both graduates and undergraduates. This is because it’ll help them to be apprehensive, prepare and ameliorate on particular development of their entrepreneurial chops hence gives chance to those who aren’t lucky or don’t come gainfully employed in the so called ‘ White- Collar ’ jobs to start their own business with the little possible finance they lay their hands on.
Secondly, The result of the study will be useful to the government as it’ll lay emphasis on the colorful ways in which entrepreneurship skill development in scholars can reduce severance and also point out the colorful ways this can be done and programs that will be put in place to make sure that entrepreneurial conditioning can be directed toward productive ends conducive to profitable progress.
Thirdly, the society is a large body to gain from this study by making known the significance of delivering the knowledge of entrepreneurship chops can go a long way to meet original requirements from hairstylist, fiscal adviser , exigency plumber and other original but important business possessors. This study also talks about the fear people have in threat of starting a business and how that can be overcome and how the society is a large factor in the fear that’s created in the mind of someone that wants to start a business.

Significance of the study
The finding of the study will equip our general knowledge on the nature of machine technology and pupil’s faculty on entrepreneurship with emphasis on sustainable development on Lagos State.
This exploration work is significant because it’ll help speakers, educationist, parents and scholars to realize that entrepreneurship development is crucial to sustainable development.
