Impact Of Pension And Gratuity On The Life Of Retirees

Abstract

The exploration design named “ The broad ideal of this exploration work is to the impact of pension and gratuity on the life of retirees with particular reference to Enugu State pension board. The experimenter examined why Enugu State Pension Board don’t pay pension regularly. Determined the effect of non perpetration of gratuity on the retirees. Examined the reasons for poor withdrawal benefits and its profitable goods on Nigeria frugality. The compass of the study of this exploration work is Enugu State pension Board. The sources of data for this work is primary and secondary data with the sample size of 80. The population of this study was drawn from Enugu State pension Board. The instrument used for this exploration work is questionnaire comprising the statement of the problem and exploration thesis, system of data donation of this work is anatomized with the use of sample table, pie- maps and probabilities. Test analysis is used in this design work. The findings of this exploration work is that the borderline benefit(i.e withdrawal benefit) giving to the pensioners are stingy compared to the liabilities they have. The recommendations for this work is that the staff of the pension department concerned with the calculation and payment of pension be made to understand the reasons for the payment of pensions and gratuity in the state.
