Abstract

The goal of this project, which involves designing and creating a lockable metal shelf, is to store documents, books, and other items in a secure location for the institution’s future use. It will also provide the greatest amount of utility to any office where it is maintained. Our supervisor gave us the primary and secondary any deltas that were used to build this project. 1.1 Inroduction

A metal lockable bookshelf is a rectangular piece of equipment made of metal that is primarily used for the storage of books, audio files, and video cassettes in homes, offices, and libraries, among other places, as well as their recovery and consultation as necessary.

A lot of thought went into this project’s feasibility, consideration of the materials available, and selection of the advantages of the material. Research on the material’s routine properties was also conducted, with special care taken if the material was combustible, environmentally harmful, or Harvard had an insect-attack resistance like metals instead of wood. In order to achieve the shelf in such a way that it becomes a modern lockable bookshelf that can contain a sizable number of books and files, it was difficult to make the project quite affordable. This was in the area of production cost, which was overcome by adopting certain amendments. For stability at any given place, ease of movement, and solidity, it was felted with rollers, stands, and stoppers.

was built from gauge 15mm mild steel street/plate and 20mm square pipe, and it consists of the following sections or components:
