This study thus, attempt to study the different migration patterns between 1969 when the migration came well noticed in Ogbomoso and time 2010 when their impact came largely appreciated.

originally, the purpose of this essay is to examine the factors that led to the movement of some aborigines of Ogbomoso to other places in Nigeria and beyond and why some have decided to be permanently hearthstone at their new places.

Secondly, to examined their socio- political and profitable set up through their association and to examine how they impacted on socio- political, and profitable structure of Ogbomoso community between 1969 and 2010.

Also, lesser emphasis will be laid on the factors responsible for the migration of Ogbomoso indigenes to other corridor of Nigeria.

To pursue the ideal of this study, I made an expansive use of oral source, this came imperative because there has been little proved on literal data about Ogbomoso settlers.

therefore the use of interview as a means of collecting data on this study is necessary, to condense the information I gathered from the library, I progressed to the filed where I conducted expansive interview with prominent individualities, Chiefs, original chroniclers and others who by virtue of their age and collections have applicable information about Ogbomoso settlers similar as Johon Brown, Alata and Evergreen etc. who converted socio- political structure of the city( Ogbomoso)

Other sources includes, Journal, Magazine, paper presented at Soun Palace and lecture of Ogbomoso Associations similar as Ogbomoso Dun, Abode Dun, Abodire, Irewolede, llelabo Isinmi, Ogbomoso Parapo etc.

Literature Review

It’s important to understand the fact that colorful workshop have been produced on internal migration in Nigeria. One of similar workshop is Makinwa which captures the major finding of scholars on internal migration in Nigeria. She explained that migrations are of two type The profitable and thenon-economic. She also explained further that migration could also be taken for social, religion, or political reasons. still, the author fails to bandy about Ogbomoso settlers which this work will concentrate on.
