Impact Of E-management On Human Resource Development In The Central Bank Of Nigeria (1999-2009)
Abstract
The Central Bank of Nigeria in its strategy towards perfecting the mortal resource operation and the general performance of the banks espoused electronic operation which is also appertained to as Information Communication Technology( ICT). Prior to the preface ofe-management, the bank operation and executive work were done by staff through homemade system. Since the preface ofe-management in the Central Bank of Nigeria, no study of this magnitude has been carried out to ascertain its impact of the bank. This study thus intends to fill this lacuna in knowledge. The broad ideal of this study is to explore the impact ofe-management on mortal resource development in
the Central Bank of Nigeria. Specifically, this study intends to achieve the following objects videlicet to( i) ascertain the extent to whiche-management has contributed to mortal resource development in the Central Bank of Nigeria.( ii) determine the extent emanagement has enhanced staff productivity in the Central Bank of Nigeria and( iii) ascertain whether or not the preface ofe-management increased severance in the Central Bank of Nigeria. The field force proposition, proffered by Lewin was used in the analysis of this study. Field force is a proposition of change. It believes that the association is propelled by competition profitable, politicaletc. to change their conduct and operations. The study espoused a descriptive cross sectional surveyresearch design and tone reporting ways for data analysis. This study revealed that the use ofe-management system in the central bank of Nigeria has bettered staff development. Secondly the study also revealed that the perpetration ofe-management in the central bank of Nigeria has enhanced staff productivity. Thirdly, the study discovered that the preface of emanagement system in the central bank of Nigeria didn’t increase severance in the
