DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A COMPUTERIZED PERSONNEL DATABASE FOR A TERTIARY INSTITUTION
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to validate all of the manual processes involved in personnel database administration for a tertiary institution and to look for ways to automate the system for more efficient operations.
Because of the continual improvement of technology, high productivity of labor and processes is best achieved through the use of machines in this revolution. A computer and its application are essential instruments for determining the area where the attraction is required.
The software engineering principles were used in the analysis, design, coding, and testing of this project.
Because of its expanded graphic features, the visual basic programming language was employed in the development of the software, and a manual is also provided. At the same time that what was wanted to resolve was achieved, it is user friendly (i.e. object oriented).
