DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF COMPUTER ACCOUNTING SYSTEM OF AN NON – PROFITABLE ORGANISATION

ABSTRACT

It is a well-known fact that effective planning and sound financial management form the cornerstone of every successful organization. The management of any organization uses reports produced from the accounts as one of the key instruments for formulating policies, making important choices, etc.

An organization’s account is a statement of the money it has paid out or will pay out and the money it has received or will receive.

In today’s world, there is a trend toward automation, which results in more data and information being produced in less time and more sophisticated and time-consuming business and accounting processes. Due to the substantial amount of material and labor required, the manual method of accounting has grown increasingly time-consuming, ineffective, and expensive.

An alternative to manual account processing is required, one that will guarantee data and account information security, data validation and accuracy, accounting system efficiency, prevent unauthorized data manipulation, etc.

Using a programming language appropriate for database administration, this project work carefully constructed a new, more efficient technique that was coded into intelligent software, analyzing the processes and procedures of manual methods of account keeping and the case study “Grail Movement”.
