DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A RESULT PROCESSING AND TRANSCRIPT GENERATION SYSTEM

ABSTRACT

The process of turning data (scores, grade points, credit units, etc.) into specific, useful information (statement of result, transcript, etc.) is known as result processing. These outcomes are used to evaluate each student’s success in various courses. When these results are processed manually, various issues arise, including result insecurity, computation errors, disorganized results after adjustments have been made, and increased workload for the exam officer(s).

However, these issues will be drastically minimized by computerizing the transcript generation and result processing. Passwords can do this, allowing only authorized users access. The work is corrected or changed without becoming messy. The exam officer(s) experience less stress as well.

The structured system analysis and design methodology (SSADM) was utilized to create the software that was employed in this computerization. To create the codes, Visual Basic 6.0 programming language was utilized. after the codes have been used to process the results. When accurate and complete data is entered, the results and transcripts are automatically created.
