Abstract

The purpose of this design was to study the gests of domestic violence victimized women in Kenya and understand their hassles in the vituperative connections. This study was conducted through Ujamii society, an association that offers a help line for women victimized by domestic violence.

The study was qualitative and data collection system was open- concluded questionnaires whereby the snitchers expressed themselves unlimited. Data analysis was made by deducible content analysis system.

The study set up out that culture, alcohol abuse and profitable factors were the major causes of domestic abuse against women. utmost of the women gave positive feedback how Ujamii society has helped them find indispensable ways in dealing with their domestic violence gests .

1. Preface

2. THE UJAMII SOCIETY

Ujamii societyco-operates with the police, quarter attorneys and family comforting centers and other associations that endorse for women.
