Strike also was defined as a situation whereby a group of workers stop working for a period of time because they went a better pay or better working conditions. The 2013 academic staff union of polytechnics( ASUP) strike was taken upon because the conditions which they anticipated the civil government to work on so as to enhance tutoring in the colorful polytechnics in the country was over looked and not paid attention to by the government.
