This study is concentrated at relating how the exposure of pornographic flicks impact the undergraduate scholars of the University of Lagos. Film is distributed under the mass media as a tool of communication. It’s thus associated with the enormous influence of the mass media.

According to Burton( 2002), the main power of the media, lies in the fact that they can shape what we know about the world and can be a main source of ideas and opinions.

For the sake of this study, pornographic flicks are moving filmland which primarily intend to arouse sexual desire in its bystander( s). Pornographic flicks may be divided into the following; Soft- core pornography, deep pornography and Violent pornography.

Akoto,( 2014) helps us define these orders citing the work of other authors as she does this. She explains that soft- core pornography is intended to arouse men and women sexually and generally contains raw andsemi-nude players engaging in casual social bareness( Williams, 1999). Soft- core pornography doesn’t contain unequivocal delineations of vaginal or anal penetration, cunnilingus, and interjection( Dubberley, 2005).

Objects Of The Study

The main object of this study is to probe the influence pornographic flicks on the life of youths. Other objects include;

1. To determine extent of exposure youths are exposed to pornographic flicks.

2. To find out the perception of youths are towards pornographic flicks.

3. To determine if and to what extent, pornographic flicks have any affect the life of youths.

4. To find out why youths watch pornographic flicks.

The study specifically handed answers to the following questions

1. To what extent are youths exposed to pornographic flicks?

2. What’s the perception of youths towards pornographic flicks?

3. To what extent are youths affected by being exposed to pornographic flicks?

4. What are the factors responsible for the viewing of pornographic flicks?
