ABSTRACT

Problems with loan recovery in Nigerian commercial banks have existed for as long as there have been commercial banks in Nigeria. The impact of this issue for Nigeria’s economic growth and the country’s commercial banks has been immense. The loan recovery issue in Nigerian commercial banks may have beneficial or bad effects. If it is favorable, it opens up space for expansion in the financial sub-sector of the economy; otherwise, things are the opposite. The majority of the time, the loan recovery issue has had a negative effect, and this is what most worries us.Commercial banks in Nigeria are in difficulties as a result of this issue. It is important to conduct study on the issue of loan recovery in Nigerian commercial banks with regard to this issue. the effects on the financial sub-sector of the economy and offer potential solutions to this issue in order to make room for the financial sub-sector of the economy to expand and grow
