Roles Of Sex And Parents’ Level Of Education On Self-esteem

 

Abstract

 

This study delved the places of coitus and parents ’ position of education on tone- regard. The actors were Two hundred( 200) scholars of Psychology and Political Science Departments of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka within the age range of 18 and 39, with a mean age of22.5 and a standard divagation of3.12. The indicator of tone- regard( ISE) was used to measure the tone- regard status of actors. Results of the data using Three- Way ANOVA showed that( 1) No significant difference was set up between manly and womanish scholars on tone- regard F( 1,192) = 2.49, P = .12( 2) No significant difference between scholars whose father have advanced education and scholars whose father have lower education on tone- regard F( 1,192) = .02, P>.01( 3) No significant difference was also set up between scholars whose mama have advanced education and scholars whose mama have lower education on tone- regard F( 1,192) = .05, P>.01. Discussion stressed the necessity of encouraging tone- regard improvement scheme in seminaries and families and the need to look at other existent’s attributes that may impact tone- regard. The counteraccusations of these results were bandied as well as some recommendations.
