Abstract

This design has the end of studying the fertility and mortality rate in Osogbo Local Government. The study employed the use of statistical styles like moving Average, least square and Demography analysis. The result of the analysis shows that there’s relationship between fertility and mortality. It’s also the prophetic power of an increase. thus, it’s recommended that government should give further medical installations for easy delivery.

In statistical analysis and conclusion statistics is playing an important part nearly in all phases of mortal life. Formally dealing only with affair of the state and this account for its name statistics.

The influence of statistics is now spread to manufacturing companies, agrarian sectors, bank, business communication, profitable, education, political wisdom, psychology, sociology and other multitudinous held of life. It’s thus, a body of scientific system and proposition of collecting, organizing, presenting and assaying of data as well as drawing valid conclusion and making a reasonable decision. The operation is set up in all discipline of numerical form.

likewise, this design is to explain and to dissect more on fertility and mortality rate of people in “ OSOGBO Original GOVERNMENT ”. This design cover four financial time from 2006 – 2009 and data is being collected at LAUTECH TEACHING HOSPITAL OSOGBO. Also calculation would be determined from the total number of fertility and mortality rate and this will be use for information needed for the fruition of data.

LAUTECH tutoring Sanitarium is possessed by both Osun State Government and Oyo State Government. The sanitarium is positioned at Idi- seke area in Osogbo Local Government. LAUTECH Teaching Hospital is equiped to standard that no other sanitarium in the state can complete with it. LAUTECH Teaching Hospital has numerous professional croakers and well trained and veritably effective nursers.

Points And Objects Of The Study

– To know whether the number of life birth( Fertility) of Osogbo Local Government is further than number of death( Mortality).

– To be suitable to study the unborn circumstance in the rate of fertility and mortality by using least square system.

– To measure the trend value of fertility and mortality rate by using moving average system.

In descriptive statistics, the exploration has information on every member of the population and also describes the characteristics of the population similar as Total, average, Means or further( Population Parameters). But in Inferential Statistics, the experimenter has information on part of population( sample). Mean, mode and standard divagation are collected for the sample; each of them is called statistics.

Statistics is useful in all field of mortal bid. We can use the knowledge of statistics to find the number of employed people in a country, we can use it to find request trend, to make any possible request in any business gambles. Infact, there’s no aspect of our diurnal life that statistics isn’t applicable.
