Strategic Approach To The Management Of Small Business Enterprises In Nigeria

 

ABSTRACT

 

A exploration was set out to estimate strategic approach as a operation tool for the small and medium enterprises with a view to help them achieve a more predictable and stable growth, over the long term. Emphasis had been directed on the trouble aspects, which utmost Small- scale Business enterprises had taken for granted. SMEs are also prompted to take a hard look at some of the strategic tools Finance, product, marketing and labor force which hadn’t gained important fashionability or acceptance.

 

Empirical substantiation in the forms of check exploration was espoused. In getting first hand information, samples of 50 repliers were drawn from a questionnaire conforming of twenty- two questions which were aimlessly named, published and administered to the entire hand as focus point. This still forms the main data collection instrument employed in the study. Data were sourced from different books on operation by notable authors, propositions applicable to the study were precisely examined, and views of different authors professionals were considered to attune the talkie exploration, in arriving at the final conclusions. Care was also taken to maintain neutrality, which could be fluently affected with the Research’s problems on the field. The conclusion is that strategic operation is largely applicable to Small- scale Business enterprises. And so long as due attention is paid to pitfalls and extremity running, the vulnerability of Small- scale Business enterprises should be reduced. That leaves only the last problem to deal with- time constraint among Small- scale Business enterprises which is said to be limiting their operation of strategic operation. To incompletely break the problem, the training andre-training of labor force, along some precedence and applicability guidelines, suiting to the operating reality of the Small- scale Business enterprises must be taking into cognizance. still, considering the universal laws of cause and effect, Small- scale Business enterprises must fete the ineluctability to apply as numerous ways as possible, in order to get the maximum results. To use time and workload as a accessible reason can frequently be a good defense for not strategizing; prostrating the temptation to do so leads to a more satisfying and satisfying adventure for the entrepreneurs.
