Abstract

 

The title on this exploration work is “ the effect of health and safety on hand’s productivity using Cadbury Nigeria Plc as a case study. The main end is to make exploration if indeed health and safety measures can be regarded as a major contributor to the growth and development of any association. The exploration work is also serves as a means to identify the variables that are controllable by operation which to certain degree have a direct impact on the performance.

 

The sources of data collection was both primary and secondary with the operation of questionnaires as an instrument to gather the necessary data. The questionnaires were duly completed after being administered and this was a base by which the primary data were collected. Handbooks, journals, papers, law reports, journals publications, were collected as secondary data, and also limitations to the study were indicated.

 

The thesis was tested using ki-square test( X2) and the result were analogous to those of the responses drawn from the questionnaires.

 

The experimenter was suitable to discover that in Cadbury Nigeria Plc, workers are regarded as a major contributor to the growth and development of any association, and as similar, it’s necessary that health measures should be put in place they aren’t independent of organizational productivity.

 

Moreso, it can be seen that workers health and safety has a large effect on organizational productivity. As a result of this, it’s of great significance and necessity that every association should produce acceptable health and safety measures in order to cover workers.
