Abstract
The main purpose of this exploration work is to look into the impact of out- lot scholars ’ accommodation on domestic property values in Awka megalopolis. The rapid-fire expansion of seminaries has brought with it numerous problems associated with the difficulties of furnishing introductory structure within the academy. The most outstanding of all the problems is the problems are that of provision of acceptable casing installations for the growing population of scholars. This study thus aimed at relating the extent to which the shy scholars ’ casing has affected the rental value of parcels in Awka megalopolis. To achieve this end, the surveyor’s exploration system was employed with the use of questionnaire.( Open ended and closed ended), oral interview, particular observation and the use of library. Having carried out a careful and logical study, the following findings were made;
The study revealed that there’s shy scholars ’ casing in Awka megalopolis.
It was also set up that shy pupil’s casing has an impact on rental values, reduction in aesthetic values of parcels, high rate of dilapitation of parcels, an unplanned terrain and weakened terrain as a result of magpie disposal of waste.
