COMPUTERIZED VISA PROCESSING INFORMATION SYSTEM

CHAPITRE ONE

1.1 BEGINNING

The design and implementation of a computerized visa processing information system in this project is based on how you may acquire lost of information about our service, ranging from guidance on how to apply for a visa to news on immigration policy changes. I hope it is useful to you.

A UK visa is the overseas arm of the United Kingdom’s integrated border control system. We operate visa offices in 160 countries throughout the world. The largest handles 300,000 applications per year, while the smallest handles less than ten. We grant visas to 80% of those who apply, and only those who pose a serious immigration risk to the UK are denied. Over 90% of simple applications are processed within 24 hours. We are proud of our track record, but we intend to improve.

Our new mission statement highlights how UK visas will meet the border objectives defined by our parent departments, the Home Office and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, in order to strike a balance between managing travel and migration and preventing illegal immigration.

Our objectives are as follows:

to bring together communities

to boost Britain’s competitiveness as a tourist, trade, migration, and investment destination

to deter illegal immigration

to provide value for money

to gain the public’s trust

1.2 THE PROBLEM’S STATEMENT

We are having issues with the British visa processing information system.

(i) Bankruptcy Attorney e.g. consumer submit their case at legal match by assisting thousands of visitors every day seeking aid with their legal concerns through intensive client acquisition and market outreach initiatives. Consumers can also reach us by phone in some places, but new bankruptcy legislation may make it more difficult to obtain an attorney.

(ii) Another issue with visa processing into the system is privacy and security issues, such as utilizing illicit or fraudulent visas to travel outside.

(iii) Another issue in the visa processing system is health (tuberculosis) screening since it is valid for more than six months in certain countries now require a certificate to indicate that they are clear from infections tuberculosis (TB) before that individual would go to overseas. In a four-year strategy unveiled earlier this year, the government stated on July 21, 2005, its intention to establish the first phase of an overseas screening program for tuberculosis for anyone intending to enter the UK for more than six months. The program’s advantage is that successful candidates will benefit when they arrive in the UK because they will not need to be sent to the port medical inspector before being allowed to enter the country.

1.3 OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

The UK’s goal in studying the visa processing system is to accomplish the following diplomatic mission.

A diplomatic mission is the office of a country’s diplomatic representative in another country’s capital city.

Diplomatic missions are created in conformity with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961.

A “High commission” is a diplomatic mission of a common wealth country in another common wealth country.

“High commissioner” refers to the mission’s leader.

An Embassy is a diplomatic mission in any foreign (i.e. non-common wealth) country, and the head of mission is known as the Ambassador.

High commissioners and embassies serve the same purposes and have the same legal standing.

Good administration of our diplomatic mission is critical to their success.

1.4 THE STUDY’S OBJECTIVE

In June 2000, the joint entry clearance unit (JECU) launched UK visas. It was created in collaboration with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Home Office to administer the UK’s entrance clearance (visa) process.

entrance clearance officers in UK embassies, high commissions, and consulates around the world process visa and entrance clearance applications. UK visas collaborate closely with the Home Office’s Immigration and Nationality Directorate (IND), the government department in charge of immigration policy and dealing with applications from those already in the UK to extend their stay or change their immigration status. UK visas reports to a joint management board of senior FCD and Home Office employees, as well as politicians from both departments.

1.5 THE STUDY’S OBJECTIVE

The study’s scope is concerned with improving the review. Britain’s competitiveness as a tourist, trade, immigration, and investment destination, as well as its ability to bring communities together. The study specifically addresses how UK visas will deliver on the border objectives set by our parent department, such as the home office and the foreign common wealth office, in order to strike a balance between managing people’s travel and migration and preventing illegal immigration. Following a critical review of the present system of the British embassy and visa processing information system, a new computerized system is built / designed in this study.
