Design And Implementation Of A Computer Based Stadium Information Management System

 

Abstract

 

Stadium operation contributes to an effective combination of chops related to planning, organizing, and assessing within the environment of an association or department whose primary product or service is related to colosseum or physical exertion. This field came more popular as a result of the massive population increase in the suckers of sports in the world moment. This design focuses on ticket and information operation in Nnamdi Azikiwe colosseum Enugu, Enugu state Nigeria in other to developed an online colosseum operation system that will be suitable to break the problem faced by the current system. Questionnaire and structural interview are fact finding system used to gain information’s from the colosseum directors. The methodology espoused for this design was Object acquainted Hypermedia Design Method( OOHDM); this is due to its perfect capability in explaining the nautical view of the abstract sphere of a system. This design was enforced using jQuery & PHP( for the reverse- end design), HTML & CSS( for the front- end design), and MYSQL( for the database design). The final outgrowth of this design was an online colosseum operation and information system developed for Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu, Enugu state Nigeria, that helps in working the problem of overcrowding colosseum gates in other to buy match ticket, this it does by furnishing an easy and effective way of purchasing of match tickets by observers online from the comfort of their homes and services, and also help the colosseum directors in easy access and reclamation of ticket and match details and also in proper operation of information’s circulating around the association.

 

Background of Study

 

In moment ‘s world of entertainment, colosseum is firstly designed to host football matches. When the sports and entertainment venue is on, it has to be completely functional, when there are no events it must be shut down to the safest and most provident operating condition. One of the necessary conditions to promote the good performance of the below mentioned sector is the proper operation of the event venue which is the colosseum.
