F00TBALL ACADEMY

1.1   BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

The Academy of Football, or simply The Academy, is the nickname of Westham United, an English football club. The honors the club’s success in developing talented young players. The title was originally attributed to the club by the club and is displayed prominently throughout the stadium, such as beside the club crest on the artificial surface surrounding the pitch at Upton Park.

The original tribute, much like the Liverpool “boot boot,” was not only reserved for the education of young players, but also for the development of a modern approach to football from the ground up as inspired by the success of the Hungarian national team. Featuring the fence puskas, who humiliated England 6-3, and the great Real Madrid side cup of the late 1950s, which dominated the European cup.

1.2   STATEMENT OF THE RESEARCH PROBLEM

• Due to complaints from both staff and students about the football academy, there is a need to construct a football academy building.

• To determine the best location for easy accessibility.

• To provide sufficient space to accommodate both staffs, football, and some necessary facilities.

1.3   AIM AND OBJECTIVES

1.4   SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The study’s findings will significantly contribute to the design of the Federal Polytechnic Oko’s football academy building.

The study will also provide a suitable location for the football academy building, allowing students and staff easy access.

1.5   SCOPE OF THE STUDY

• The purpose of this research is to evaluate the location, design, and space of the football academy at Federal Polytechnic Oko.

It only covered the football academy at Federal Polytechnic Oko and not the Atani campus.

1.6   LIMITATION OF THE STUDY

The research has the following limitations.

1. There was no register to access.

2. Because there were few interesting students, they found it difficult to accept the researcher’s questionnaire.
