Hazards And Prospects Of Journalism In Nigeria
Abstract
Knowing the history of journalism in Nigeria is necessary to understand the risk (i.e., issue) and potential of the industry. In order to understand what journalism truly is, we will explore and define it in chapter one. Additionally, the definition of journalism will be investigated and examined. The problem statement and the categorization of journalism in Nigeria as well as the media of journalism will also be examined critically and discussed. The press plays a significant role in Nigerian journalism; this topic will also be covered in chapter two. The freedom of the press and the risks and opportunities of journalism will both be discussed in this chapter. The study procedure, research design, and research methodology will all be examined severely in chapter three.
