The study principally concentrated attention on part of mass media in eradicating election violence in Osun State( A case study of OSBC, GoldF.M, UniqueF.M). Broadcast media have over the times perform a veritably pivotal part in the socio- political and profitable development of Nigeria. Mass media are frequently appertained to as the fourth estate of realm because of the power they apply and the oversight function they exercise. The media as a major player in popular governance have been honored since the late 17th century, and remains a abecedarian principle of ultramodern- day popular proposition and practice especially in educating, enlightening, marshaling the electorates ahead, during and after choices. Media have been used to support republic and development. Quantitative exploration design was used in whichcross-sectional check system was espoused while the data collection instrument was questionnaire. 120 clones of questionnaire were published and administered to the repliers. It’s egregious from this study that Mass media especially radio and TV which give avenue for the illiterate citizen to get information about political conditioning do educate and acclimatize millions on colorful conditioning similar as enrollment , how to handle namer’s card, what to wear during election, how to share in political rally and crusade, to the conditioning on election day, content of election result, content of post election conditioning like violence and bench. It’s recommended that intelligencers should see their part in community especially during election as vital which they must play their part with sincerity and with caution.
