STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
The issue that has to be addressed is one of moral decision-making. When confronted with a morally critical situation, what should one do? Life throws us into circumstances where we must make difficult judgments. When you say yes to one perceived good, you’re usually saying no to another. For us, the question of “what should I do in this situation?” causes conflict. Making decisions is a necessary component of man’s existence. Man strives to make the best decisions possible at all times because a bad decision can be harmful to both the individual and the community. As a result, according to B. O. Eboh, “it is often difficult to take a moral decision in a given situation due to the many other facts that may surround such a situation”.
