Residents Perception On Housing Quality

Abstract

The perception of housing quality among Umuguma residents was investigated in this study. Structured questionnaires were employed to collect the majority of the study’s data, and random sampling techniques were used to determine the sample size of 140 units. While the presentations include tables, charts, and percentages, the data was gathered and examined. The null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted when the ANOVA (analysis of variance) was used to test the hypothesis. The result demonstrates that the calculated value (52.5) is bigger than the tabular value (l0.13). The opinion of their dwelling quality by the genders differs significantly. H0: There is no statistically significant difference between how either gender views the quality of their housing.
