There were several studies which explored the relationship between motivational factors and construction pool productivity around the globe but there was a failure of this work in the original terrain of Nigeria. The construction assiduity plays an important part in the development of the frugality of the country. Construction assiduity is an area told by numerous different factors similar as labour, material, outfit and construction styles etc. Among these factors, mortal coffers come first without which, other coffers would not be employed or converted into productive use. Any enhancement in labour productivity would contribute a great deal to the enhancement of the overall productivity as linked by Hashim( 1995). This study will educate the operation of the association( especially construction companies in Nigeria) on how to motivate their workers to productivity.

The findings of this study will induce people†™ s interest in probing into other areas of provocation in the association will enrich the literature on provocation as a miracle.

Eventually, the study hopes to enrich people†™ s knowledge in this area of organizational geste and operation of people in the association.

This study is on effect of provocation of labour, cost and productivity on the construction assiduity of Nigeria. The study will also covers the colorful ways of provocation and propositions of provocation as they impact on workers productivity in an association.

The following terms were defined as used in this study

Productivity Is the rate of affair or product capacity of the workers in an association. It’s the relationship between the quantum of one or further inputs and the quantum of labors from a easily linked process.
