THE EXTENT OF USE OF INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS FOR EFFECTIVE TEACHING-LEARNING OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION IN JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL

 

Abstract 

A case study of Enugu North L. G. A in Enugu State served as the basis for this study on the level of instructional material utilization in teaching and learning of integrated science and computer science in junior secondary schools. In this study, nine (9) schools were chosen from a population of fourteen (14) schools in Enugu North L. G.A., and four research topics were addressed.

The mean was used to examine the data, which were displayed in a table. In this study, random sampling was utilized as the sampling method, and the sample size was fourteen (14). Researchers discovered that the study’s importance benefits many different groups, including teachers, society, students, curriculum developers, etc.Among other things, it was determined that there are insufficient educational resources for the teaching and learning of combined science and computer science. The researchers suggested, among other things, that the local and state governments in Enugu North should support teachers and supply enough curriculum materials.
