THE PHYSICS OF STARS AND THEIR ASTRONOMICAL IDENTIFICATION

Abstract

It is clear from this investigation into the physics of stars and their astronomical identification that stars go through particular physical processes as they progress through their life cycle. There is a thorough explanation of how gravity, magnetic fields, and nuclear fusion affect star evolution. The structure and evolution of stars are described in this research. While the mass of the star is the determining factor in the evolution and structure of the star and dictates its attributes, the structure and evolution of a star are determined by the principles of hydrostatic equilibrium, energy transport and generation, and conservation of energy. This paper also discusses stellar spectra. Different light wavelengths are absorbed by various materials. We can determine the elements present in a star by looking at its spectrum. Finally, since different stars have distinct astronomical identifications, stars and how they are identified are also covered.
