Abstract

This disquisition examined the impact of social media in original government administration in Nigeria with Osogbo original government as a case study. The disquisition system espoused for this disquisition was check in which one hundred and fifty questionnaires were administered to the attesters within Osogbo original government secretariat and community while 130 duplicates of questionnaire were returned. Without distrustfulness, social media have revolutionalized the practice and performance of Public relations at all position particularly with the recent prolusion in the original government administration in Nigeria. still, despite the fact that social media have been in our society in about a decade it’s yet to be fully appreciated and completely integrated as one of the core channels of information within the original government. It’s recommended that if the Information Department of the original government is fully equipped with labor force and paraphernalia, it will go a long way in integrating social media into original government exertion.
