Abstract

 

This study examine the Proliferation of Radio Stations and its Recrimination for media Performance using Ray Power FM100.5, Alagbado( private radio), Eko FM,89.7 Ikeja( state radio) and FRCN 6090 Lagos( Federal radio) as case study. thus, the growth of radio stations in Nigeria have brought both negative and positive impacts on the people especially with the occasion to hear to multiple broadcasting stations of their choice unlike in the history when government sewed up the broadcast assiduity, although deregulation has also made National Television Authority( NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria( FRCN) to polarize its stations across the countries of confederation while private media has also multiplied. Survey exploration system was espoused and 150 clones of questionnaires were published and distributed to 150 repliers named in which 140 clones were returned.
